Overview
A student short film made with the University of Manchester filmmaking community. As assistant director, the job was to keep the shoot on schedule and the set calm: breaking down the script, building call sheets, and coordinating cast and crew across every shooting day.

Creative approach
Keep the set calm so the director can think. Preparation was the creative contribution: a schedule that protected the scenes that mattered most and left room for the unexpected.
Process
- Script breakdown and scene scheduling. Organised rehearsal times; assisted with script changes and pre-shoot planning.
- Call sheets created, locations and cast/crew coordination for shooting days.
- Organised on-set running to ensure continuity of scripting, time management, call sheets and shooting schedules, creating a high morale on shooting days.
- Reshoots organised, wrapping filming and assisting in final edits before handing over.
